By downloading, installing, or using PoleScope AR (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Apple Standard EULA) for personal, non-commercial use on Apple devices you own or control, subject to the App Store Terms of Service.
The App offers a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase, “PoleScope Pro,” which unlocks premium content. There is no subscription and no auto-renewal. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and can be restored via “Restore Purchases” in Settings.
The App’s polar alignment, Bortle estimation, and visibility predictions are reference tools for amateur astronomy. Accuracy depends on device sensors and conditions. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for professional-grade alignment or for any safety- or navigation-critical purpose.
Solar terms, the 28 lunar mansions, constellation myths, and natal-mansion features are an educational and artistic presentation of traditional astronomy and folklore. They are for cultural enjoyment only and do not constitute any prediction, fortune-telling, medical, or investment advice.
The App and its original content, design, and text are protected by copyright. Attribution for public-domain and third-party assets appears under “Open Source Licenses” in the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
